Hi! I'm a new mom. I have a 4 month old baby boy. He is very healthy. He already had his 2-month visit vaccinations which my husband totally was against for. Now that it is time again for his 4-month check up, we decided not to give any more vaccinations. I'm just learning about the dangers of these vaccinations but at the same time I'm stressed out and scared that no pediatrician here in Hawaii would want to see our child if they know we don't want any vaccinations! Are there any pediatricians here in Hawaii that are OK with parents not wanting vaccinations for their child? I feel helpless and still uninformed. My friend told me to stay away from well-baby visits if I don't want any vaccinations..but at the same time, I would want to know how my baby is developing. If only I can go to these well-baby visits without the usual pressure from pediatricians to vaccinate our child. I know this might not be the right site for my concerns to be blogged into but I am desperate for answers and advice on what to do from here on. I just stumbled accross Dr. Bolman's blog when I was searching google for answers. I've been looking for a DAN doctor that can see my child even if he doesn't have Autism..just for well-baby check ups. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
